Some apartments in East Side neighborhoods are being burglarized by pretty intent daytime burglars.

Police in Cincinnati say that Madisonville and Mount Washington have both experienced these daytime burglaries with the same method of operations.

They are occurring in multi-family units that contain laundry rooms adjacent to apartments. The suspect or suspects utilize the laundry rooms to cut through a section of drywall to enter a victim's apartment.

In the recent cases, the apartments were ransacked for jewelry, laptops and other small valuables.

The Cincinnati Police Department is attempting to locate the people responsible for these brazen break-ins. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 513-979-4400.

Or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward, call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040. Tips can be sent by text to 513-352-3050.
