Finding affordable housing on line

Computer listings can help find affordable housing

Non Profit Homesearch Services

HUD properties:  Operated by HUD.  Search for properties that have project based assistance.  Doesn't list current vacancies or waiting list information.  Use a series of menus to identify state, city, unit type in order to narrow your search.  Does not include actual vacancies...you will need to call each property for info on vacancy and waiting list.

USDA properties:  The US Department of Agriculture offers low income housing in rural areas.  Here's a tool for searching by Ohio County.  Like the HUD search tool, USDA only shows properties.
Does not include actual vacancies...you will need to call each property for info on vacancy and waiting list.

Housing Cleveland.  Operated by housing service organizations and advocates in Cuyahoga County, provides vacancy listings for Cuyahoga County.  Live vacancies, especially focused on Housing Choice Voucher eligible properties.
